Luis Escribano (75), survivor of queer cinema collective Els 5 QK’s, and his husband Vicente go to Barcelona in order to donate their films to the archives of Filmoteca wishing to find a place where their work can be preserved. While they fight again bureaucracy, they meet his old friends-collaborators and start to remember the best moments of that filmography and its meaning during those transition’s times from Franco's dictatorship to democracy.

"Maricones" is the last process of their postproduction (sound mix and engineering) and subtitling) but some works-in-progress have been displayed on International Documentary Film Festival of Tenerife "Miradas Doc", International LGBT Film Festival of Barcelona "FIRE!!" and MACBA - Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona.
